Join the faithful of Córdoba in the Procession of Silence, held on Good Friday during Holy Week. In this solemn procession, Catholics accompany the Virgin of Sorrows as she mourns the death of Jesus.

Signing of the Córdoba Treaties

Be part of this event commemorating the Córdoba Treaties, signed on August 24, 1821, in the city of Córdoba, Veracruz.

This historic agreement, signed by Agustín de Iturbide, leader of the Army of the Three Guarantees, and Juan de O’Donojú, the last viceroy of New Spain, marked the end of Mexico’s War of Independence.

Feast of Our Lady of Covadonga

The Feast of Our Lady of Covadonga is an important celebration for the Spanish community in Córdoba, Veracruz. During this event, the image of Our Lady of Córdoba is carried in a procession through the main streets of the city’s historic center.

The procession features members of the Casino Español dressed in traditional Spanish attire, accompanied by bagpipes and tambourines.
